Last year I read the book,” Wonder” by R.J. Palacio. It’s about a boy named August Pullman who was born with a facial abnormality. He feels normal inside and he does normal things but other kids don’t treat him like he’s normal. He has been home schooled his whole life and this is his first year going to a real school. All he wants is for the other kids to accept him. How will this year go for him?
This is the type of book that you always tell someone else to read. It really makes you live the life of August Pullman and feel what he’s feeling. I let my math teacher borrow this book last year and she also loved it. I liked how the book was written in multiple point of views so you can get a better sense of what the other characters are feeling. I rate this book 5 stars.
