“Dear Aunt Edith,
My parents said I have to babysit my younger siblings after school.
WHAT IF I GET THEM KILLED? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!”
All kids are different. Here are some tips divided by age.
Babies and Toddlers
Most parents will give you instructions for toddlers. Give them toys and play with them GENTLY. If they cry, figure out WHY. Fix it.
Making forts, watching movies, and playing outside are fun things to do with kids. Ask them what they want to do. Come up with crafts and games. Try to keep them off the electronics. Don’t let them pig out.
You’d have to work pretty hard to kill your siblings (by accident). Treat them nicely, take care of them, listen to your parents instructions, and don’t let them take advantage of you. They might think they can get more privileges out of you because you have a common enemy: your parents. Just kidding. But they do think you’re more likely to let them do more things.
