Two years after the fateful day two bombs were set off and ruined the Boston Marathon, terrorist Dzhokhar Tasrnaev was sentenced to death. The explosions murdered three people, 29-year-old Krystle Campbell, 23-year-old Lu Lingzi, and eight-year-old Martin Richard. Multiple people lost limbs and are still recovering either mentally or physically. Some people are still undergoing surgery. The manhunt that killed Tasrnaev’s older brother also killed MIT police officer, Sean Collier. The Boston Marathon will always be interlaced with this tragic event. All of these people had lives ahead of them. Martin Richard didn’t even have all of his adult teeth yet. Lu Lingzi had college to finish, and Krystle was a bridesmaid 17 times. Maybe one day, she could’ve been the bride. The autopsies of these bodies were not pretty. They had had gaping wounds and third degree burns. Krystle was alive for about a minute after the bomb blast got her. The insides of Martin Richard’s body were all twisted up, and his younger sister lost her leg. Lu held her own stomach as she died. Tasrnaev might not even get put to death for years. The appealing process is that long. And that’s not even the worse part. A picture of 8-year-old Martin Richard holding up a hand made sign that read:
This can be found online. How sick and twisted is that? This whole horrific event is sick and twisted.
